Pecha Kucha comes to Stoke!

Stoke-on-Trent has become the first city in the Midlands to hold a programme of Pecha Kucha nights! Get us!

Pecha Kucha nights were designed in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young creatives and designers to meet, network and show their work in public. 6 years on and it's finally coming to Stoke-on-Trent!

The idea is so simple, it's little wonder it's become so successful! All you have to do is show 20 images for 20 seconds each in a presentation! It's a great way of keeping things moving and makes sure no-one hogs the mic!

Who can present and what can people present? Anyone can present anything! Pecha Kucha was set up to provide an informal space for creatives to meet and share ideas.

Interested? Come to the Fat Cat Cafe Bar on Trinity Street in Hanley on Friday 13th November between 7pm and 9pm. You don't have to present the first time you go - just go along and check it out - it's completely free! But if you do want to present, register at Pecha Kucha.

Have fun Creative Stokies!
