Oxjam Bath 2010 Sponsorship Opportunities
After last year’s successful maiden event, Oxjam Bath is back! Oxjam Bath 2010 will take place on Sunday, October 24th this year, and sponsorship opportunities are available for local companies to get involved. All funds raised will go to Oxfam's ongoing campaign to fight poverty.
Headliners for the event have yet to be announced but Frank Turner, the cult singer-songwriter, gave a great Oxjam-themed performance at a packed Komedia this month. The crowd was treated to a brilliant show from Frank as he pushed the message and impact of Oxjam as a really positive, inclusive event to bring Bath together.
This year’s city-takeover will happen through multiple Bath venues with the official launch party planned for September 24th at Komedia, which includes a charity auction. Tickets will be on sale very shortly. As an event run completely by volunteers, Oxjam Bath relies solely on sponsorship and fundraising to be able to happen.
There are still opportunities available for Stage sponsorship, Main Programme sponsorship and general event sponsorship. The package this year is increased with the addition of a main event programme which will be available throughout the city leading up to the event itself, stage sponsorship, launch party involvement and several more tailored packages. Although Oxjam Bath is a charitable event it offers a fantastic opportunity for positive association with such a worthwhile and high profile brand and will reach a myriad of people throughout the City.
Background:
Since the launch of Oxjam in 2006, more than 36,000 musicians have taken part in almost 3,000 separate Oxjam events nationwide, raising more than £1,000,000 in the process - enough to provide care for 20,000 vulnerable children and safe water for almost 1.4 million people.
