Calling all music lovers! June 11th 2010 is opening night for the Idle Words Jazz Lounge upstairs at The Square Restaurant in Weavers Walk, off Newbury High Street ...
From 7:30pm – 11pm join us in the upstairs bar and relax with your friends and favourite tipple to the sound of Idle Words and some of their favourite jazz picks. You have heard them at Newbury Unplugged, at the Racecourse, at the Crafty Craft, now come and join them on their newest venture.
The Square’s upstairs lounge bar is the perfect sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere to unwind and enjoy the start of the weekend. With Tom Medhurst on guitar and Jenifer Klepfer on vocals, Idle Words, hopes to beguile you with its renditions of jazz from the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Before dinner, after dinner, or for the whole evening, we hope to see you there!
