Brighton conference for business mums
Mothers who run businesses are being invited to book their place at the Business Mums’ Conference, which takes place on 5 October, for a day of networking and workshops.
The conference will take place in Brighton and is organised by three successful Sussex businesswomen – Nicky Chrisholm of Mums in Biz; author and entrepreneur Antonia Chitty; and SMB events founder Suzanne Borrell.
The Business Mums’ Conference website has just been launched and will showcase a businesswoman from Sussex each week.
“We’re running the Business Mums’ Conference to help women get inspired and learn skills to develop their business,” said Chrisholm. “At the show, women will be able to meet other mums running their own businesses, plus those thinking of and planning to start up.
“It’s a chance to catch up with old friends, meet people you have only emailed or chatted to on forums previously, and to make new contacts,” she added.
Early bird tickets for the event cost £45, rising to £57 after 15 July. The price of the ticket includes a series of workshops to help businesswomen improve their skills, a Q&A session with a panel of female entrepreneurs and a champagne and chocolate networking session.
