Matthew Carey Simos is an Illustrator/Printmaker who was born in South Africa, raised in Greece and is now based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He received his BA hons in Illustration at Coventry University in 2007 and since then he has been drawing strange creatures, building Greek traditional musical instruments and developing his relief printmaking techniques.

At the moment he is an artist in residence at the Owl and Lion gallery in Edinburgh where he mostly found carving and printing lino. You can see more of his work here.
