Spreading peace and goodwill with the 2014 Christmas card from ad agency isobel

As any self-respecting agency owner knows, one of the biggest dilemmas of the approaching festive season is what to send out to clients, suppliers and friends as the company Christmas card.

Obviously, you'll want to be sincere without going over-the-top while offering a hint of creativity, reminding people that you're good at what you do.

One agency that has not only nailed this challenge but gained a reputation for its award-winning series of Christmas cards is isobel in London. The team has covered a multitude of scenarios ranging from a 17th-century Dutch master, Glee, a 1970s accountants party and a Bethnal Green workings men’s club.

For its ninth outing, the agency has hit the prosthetics for a follicly challenged shoot that was its most demanding to date. After three hours in ‘hair’ and makeup, having skullcaps expertly fitted, the agency then spent six hours channelling their inner zen to create the ultimate scene of peace and goodwill – all achieved with virtually no photoshopping or post-production.

The brainchild and pet project of isobel creative partner, Rob Fletcher and photographed by Paul Thompson, the isobel Christmas cards have become a celebrated adland ‘event’. Check out previous offerings below and pick your favourite.
