Shauna McGowan is a multi-disciplined artist based in N.Ireland. Areas of interest include screen-printing, illustration and poetry. A magpie in a past life, she is drawn to metallic surfaces and shiny vibrant things. Studying Fashion and Textile design, specialising in screen-printing has enabled her to illuminate diverse surfaces with her strong, graphic drawing skills.
She creates unique screen prints on leather as well as being a published illustrator. Her work has been featured in Wonderland Magazine Denmark, Drawing Eire-Contemporary Irish Drawing, AU Magazine, State Magazine and Digital Textile Magazine amongst others.
