Whole Lotta Love For Abbey Road's Swan Song

One of the UK’s leading IT entrepreneurs is giving away a pair of golden tickets to one of the most historic gigs of the year. Bill Cannon, the founder of Shepperton, is sponsoring what could be the last concert at the Abbey Road Studios.

The event will headline Led Zeppelin rock legend Robert Plant, David Gray, Newton Faulkner and Beth Nielsen Chapman.

The exclusive concert, which has space for just 400 people, is in aid of Cancer Research. Plant has promised a unique spectacle for the show, but the details have been kept a close-guarded secret.

A few tickets for the event have already changed hands on eBay for more than £2,000, however, the last two tickets are available in a special competition launched by Shepperton.

“I lost my father to cancer, so the cause is close to my heart,” says Cannon. “It’s great to see so many big names in the music industry getting involved.

“This might be one of the last ever gigs at Abbey Road, so we fully intend to let it go out with a bang.”

A pair of tickets worth more than £2k will be given away to the person who, in 140 characters, gives the best reason why businesses should donate more money to charity. The winner will be chosen by Bill Cannon of Shepperton. Go to @sheppertonltd on Twitter.
