The Bigger Idea - Supporting and Inspiring Young Creative Talent In Business

An exciting new social enterprise – The Bigger Idea – has launched, enabling 16-24 year olds across the country to realise and develop their creative potential into tangible business solutions.

The initiative aims to provide fresh ingenuity and originality to businesses whilst also inspiring creative young talents interested in innovation, entrepreneurship and social change through valuable expertise and real-life experiences to help build their careers.

The Bigger Idea is supported by parent company The Bigger Experience, the ideas activation agency which creates and implements live events and experiences for companies and brands across the lifestyle sector. Selected members of the Bigger Idea are invited to join The 100 and every fortnight they receive a live or realistic brief across a diverse range of issues. The member who demonstrates impressive creativity and an inspiring solution is invited to activate their idea, with full support, resources and mentoring from The Bigger Experience.

The activity will provide young people with the knowledge and understanding of how to develop their creativity into a logistical reality. The Bigger Idea is looking for a range of partner companies to provide challenging briefs and offer work placement opportunities for members.

“We’ve been thoroughly impressed by the originality and brilliance demonstrated by our Bigger Idea members” says Luke Walker, director and co-creator of The Bigger Idea.

“The Bigger Idea has already demonstrated how it can provide engaging and interactive solutions with its work carried out at high-profile festivals and for charities and brands. Our goal is to develop a sustainable enterprise providing young resourceful minds with the tools, resources and networks they need to develop their careers further through training, guidance or invaluable hands-on experience.”

The Bigger Idea is open to anyone interested in developing their creative talents within their careers and offers useful tips and advice across its website, newsletter and social media channels. High profile industry experts are asked to act as mentors to share their backgrounds, tips and provide guidance through video interviews hosted on the site.
