Team expansion and awards nominations at fresh Group

Four new faces join North West based full service creative agency The fresh Group, bolstering the perennially busy studio and the ever-expanding sales division. These appointments come at a time when the business has secured an undisclosed major new blue chip client.

Katie Mather joins as Business Development Manager working with Head of Group Sales Matthew James and supporting Client Services Director Patrick Howells. Katie, previously Head of Development at Acrobat in Stockport, brings with her a track record of new business wins and an enviable reputation in client development.

Barry Kenyon, previously of TBWA, also joins us as our new Senior Artworker working on The Co-Op account amongst others and Ben Porter joins as Technical Assistant within the events team. Lastly, Nicola Macleod joins the events team on a forty-week student placement as part of the Group’s commitment to championing fresh talent.

The fresh events team have also been busy, becoming finalists in the forthcoming Event Awards 2011. Commissioned by M&S to produce an interactive stand at Prince Charles prestigious Start event in 2010, fresh has gone on to have the project recognised in the ‘Exhibition Stand’ category in this years awards. The presentation itself will take place on Tuesday 20th September at The Roundhouse, Chalk Farm.

This news comes as the fresh group moves into its busiest final quarter this year. Patrick Howells, Client Services Director commented; “Katie, Barry, Ben and Nicola are a welcome addition in what is an increasingly busy time for the business across all areas. 2011 is fresh’s biggest year in terms of turnover from retained clients and profitability. Our joined up approach to marketing and communications is also proving extremely popular with some very recent major client wins. To continue being recognised within the industry for our work is also a great boost for the teams.”
