Product and graphic designers Supafrank will be launching a showcase of their interior products and illustrations at the London Design Festival later this month.
'Creature Collective' is a selection of work inspired by curiosities of nature. It follows the designers' journey from initial character sketches to pared-down components that distill the spirit of the original creatures.
Supafrank partner Katie Steel said: 'We wanted to create a range of interior companions that people could connect with. By revealing our stories and allowing people to construct each item by hand, we hope these will become timeless pieces that people cherish.'
The few simple components can be interchanged using just one tool - a mallet - to make up a stool, a hook, a light pull and a light. The finished products combine quality and durability with a unique personality.
