The famous Weston Gallery in Carmel, California, will be hosting a new exhibition entitled “New Year:New Visions” from now until Sunday 27th February 2011, and Suffolk photographer Paul Coghlin, one of their newly represented artists, will be one of the five contemporary photographers being featured.
Paul's prints chosen for inclusion in the show, have come from his award-winning “Behind The Eyes” animal series: Lion’s Stare (Variation II), Portrait of an Elephant (Variation II) and Regard.
From the gallery's introduction: "A quite calm envelops the viewer upon seeing this collaboration of newly appointed works at the Weston Gallery. There exists a theme between the artists of bucolic wonder, introspection, and peace. The featured artists, while new to the Weston Gallery are not new to the art of making fine art photography. Their works are included in both national and international collections and they have won many acclaimed grants and awards. We invite you to visit our website for complete biographies, press coverage and to view photographic works".
