Squiddles is a new web store which has been launched by illustrator Matt Daniels, aka Stickypop, after his girlfriend Emma Wilkinson passed away from the Epstein-Barr virus on 9th July 2010.
Squiddles was brought to life to take such a tragic, upsetting event and try to raise awareness of the virus and keep Emma alive through memory and through artwork.
The name Squiddles came from the nickname Matt gave to Emma which she loved and which Matt wanted to keep alive through his work and events he wants to hold in memory of Emma.
This web store is different from any other clothing company because it was founded upon love and loss from a group of people who see themselves as a family who enjoy nothing more than creating clothing and sharing it around the world.
