Square Zero Signs New Award-Winning Director
Independent East London production company, Square Zero has announced the signing of award-winning short film, music promo and commercials Director, Danann Breathnach.
Joining Square Zero to further bolster their roster of directing talent, Danann’s recent credits include a number of internationally recognized short films such as Team Sleep, scooping awards at the Naoussa International Film Festival in 2009 and the Corona Cork Film Festival in 2008. He has also directed a number of music videos including Blame ft Tinchy Stryder and Cagedbaby’s Medicine released on Fat Boy Slim’s Southern Fried Records, as well as a viral for fashion brand, Marc Jacobs.

Danann’s talents as a director follow a career as a TV presenter and mainstream actor for the likes of MTV, BBC and Channel 4.

Square Zero specializes in 3D production, live holograms, live action and animation music promos, and virtual reality technology. Credits include the Frank Sinatra Hologram for Simon Cowell’s 50th birthday party and 3D stereoscopic content for well known brands including a high end label’s Fashion Week show and a Vauxhall Astra commercial. Square Zero has also recently won a Gold IVCA Award in the External Interactive Media category, for their groundbreaking work on the launch of the new Vauxhall Astra – a 360 degree Virtual Reality Experience and interactive viral campaign.
