In line with growth plans, successful talent agency, Red Door Management, has opened a new office within The Pie Factory at MediaCityUK.

Red Door Management was established in 2006 and represents a wide range of talented actors across all areas of the entertainment industry. The firm, which also has an office in London, is sister company to Scream Management which is a casting agency for extras.

Company founder, Tracey Bell, has more than 20 years’ experience in the entertainment industry and felt a move to MediaCityUK would firmly place the agency at the hub of the growing creative quarter.

Tracey commented: “Since we opened the doors at The Pie Factory, the agency has gone from strength to strength and we have successfully secured a number of high profile roles for our artists.

“The North West, and particularly Manchester, is a hotbed of talent and I have made it my mission to help artists get to where they should be, and being right on the doorstep of creative powerhouses like the BBC and Vision+Media ensures we can keep up with current and relevant opportunities.”

In addition to securing a role in Hollywood blockbuster St Trinians 2, Red Door has also provided artists for BBC 2’s Worried About A Boy, Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, ITV’s Emmerdale and a number are currently filming in the area for Jimmy McGovern’s Accused.
