A new online shop opens featuring affordable contemporary art from the South West.
South West Artwork, a contemporary arts organisation based in Dorset have launched a new online shop featuring great quality artwork at competitive prices.
The organisation to date specialise in producing inventive art exhibitions in some unusual venues since 2006; they have showcased some of the best contemporary talent the South West has to offer in a scrap yard , a de-consecrated church and an old Victorian water pump house for example.
Now with a number of emerging talents on their books Laura Mulhern, Director of South West Artwork thought it would be a great opportunity to offer an ongoing outlet where artists can exhibit and sell their work online. The shop sells a wide range of artistic products from photography, digital illustration, canvas prints, sculpture as well as textile work and unique design products.
SWA are a non-profit company, so all additional profit made from sales of artwork gets reinvested back into the company to enable them to continue to produce inventive exhibitions of new work and provide an ongoing opportunity for local emerging artists to showcase their talent.
