From fashion and interior designers to photographers and fine artists - Start Pronto will support and develop creative students, graduates and start-up businesses in Glasgow and beyond.
Start Pronto will enhance and strengthen Scotland’s creative network through providing collaboration opportunities and running creative business classes, whilst complimenting existing business support organisations.
The exclusive Start Pronto launch party on Saturday December 11th (7.30pm – 11pm) will expose upcoming artists and designers to press, bloggers, funders and art collectors.
On Sunday December 12th Make It Glasgow, sewing café, hosts the Start Pronto Open Day (12.30pm 5.00pm), for the public to have a taster of what will be released on the new online creative store Adonai, launching in 2011.
Student journalists will also receive spotlight in limited copies of Commove, the new creative business magazine. The release of Commove will support Women in Progress, enabling women in Ghana to create economically stable creative businesses.
This is the start of something great that will boost Glasgow’s creative industry and contribute well to the Scottish economy from this point onward.
