With the popularity if the US hit series Glee, the Mckinley High experience is coming to Colchester this July with Scenario's summer workshops.
Scenario’s workshops have proved to be a huge success, and at the end of this month actor Neil Clench and his team will be setting up theatre in Colchester again with two summer workshops for children aged 7 -16 years. For their July workshop they hope to nurture Colchester’s very first Glee superstars.
Over four days the young performers will be introduced to the joy and fun of performance by developing their creativity and skills through a carefully designed programme, supported by the involvement of professionals from within the performing arts industry.
There will be plenty of fun and games and of course dancing and singing along the way with a fully costumed performance at the end of the week for friends and family to attend.
The Glee workshop runs from July 26 – 29, 9.30am – 4.30pm daily at The Bunting Rooms, Essex Street, Colchester CO2 7AD. Please note that only a few spaces are still available for this workshop so call 07900817534 to book your place as soon as possible.
The second workshop is centred around one the works of Shakespeare and will run from August 23rd - 26th at the Headgate Theatre, Colchester CO2 7AT. Bookings must be made direct with the Headgate Theatre on 01206 366000.
Both workshops cost £75 individually, but if booking for the two you will receive a discount of £20 – that's £130 for two workshops per child.
