Online makeover for Interior Design practice

South West commercial Interior Designers Burtt-Jones & Brewer sees the launch of their new website. Designed to showcase not only a slick and growing portfolio of clients from Specialized to Emaps but also demonstrate the intelligent thinking behind their ideas. The new site aims to elevate their brand profile, attract new business and educate people about the world of Interior Design.

So often the presumption is that an Interior Designer is all frilly cushions, chintz inspired curtains with matching tie-backs and extravagantly decorated living rooms! This image could not be more further from the truth for Burtt-Jones & Brewer.

Burtt-Jones & Brewer have a passion for innovative, strategic, ergonomic design and advise at an architectural level when internal, physical barriers need to be changed to enhance an environment.

With each concept they strive to increase the wellbeing, productivity and shape the environment of any space. The new site reflects just this. With a clear description of their ‘honest design’ approach, a proven methodology that intends to demystify the whole interior design process, along with an impressive collection of case studies to showcase each design journey from sketches through to finished photographs. The results are as impressive as their new online presence.

“It was really important to us to be perceived as professionals, yet relaxed. We wanted to come across very approachable with a no-ego-attitude and we actively made sure we didn’t look like a ‘Design and Build’ company,” says Steve Brewer, co-founder. “We’re fully independent and are not linked to any manufacturers or suppliers. Many of our competitors have got ‘tie ins’ that they don’t really declare. That makes us different.”

With a growing team of five and exciting new projects in the pipeline, the new site neatly integrates with tumblr where they regularly post thought leadership blog articles along with interesting company news and random musings.

Adam Burtt-Jones, co-founder comments “we’ve recently spent time evolving and defining our key brand messages. We’re keen to position ourselves as experts in our field and gain respect for what we love doing. Above all, we care about being honest, transparent, ethical and creatively different. Design is what we’re all about. Having a new website that reflects our brand is really exciting for us.”
