Due to popular demand, BAFTA award-winning screenwriter, film producer and regular Creative Boom Edinburgh contributor Douglas Dougan of Fluid Eye Productions will be running additional screenwriting courses this autumn & winter.
Writing Scripts is the first part of an all new 25-week screenwriting programme delivered through City of Edinburgh Council Education. This lively and interactive workshop is for anyone wanting to try their hand at writing for film and television.
The course will explore the process of script development and writing – from idea to finished script and beyond. It will show how to generate ideas, flesh out characters, write vibrant scenes, create a compelling narrative for visual drama, and get it all down in professional script format.
No previous knowledge or experience is needed.
