Fast growing full service digital agency, Chapter Eight, has continued its rapid expansion with the appointment of Sue Griffin as Compliance Director. Sue, who has been with Chapter Eight for the past two and a half years, will now oversee the company's corporate social responsibility policy, PCI DSS compliance, talent and corporate governance whilst also retaining her duties as Company Secretary and PA to the Board.
Sue brings with her a wealth of experience in this new role having worked in the online industry for over ten years at Regional Independent Media Group plc and then HPI Group, before moving to Chapter Eight in 2007. She has held a number of senior personal assistant and Board roles in the Manufacturing, Digital and Media sectors reporting directly to Managing Directors and their Boards.
The appointment is the latest in a series of measures taken by Chapter Eight to strengthen their internal compliance programme and by extension, those of their clients. They recently achieved PCI DSS Level 1 certification for their C8 Framework – the core technology used for all website, intranet and extranet project.
In addition, Sue will be overseeing the Board development programme and work with the Institute of Directors to add to the Chartered Director count at Chapter Eight. Sue will also be managing the ISO certification project that Chapter Eight is now undertaking following completing of PCI DSS.
Sue will be heavily involved in promoting awareness, standards and best practice related to Chapter Eight's clients and future merchant partners. She will also play an integral role in developing unique talent management strategies for the business.
