Tickets are now available for an exclusive workshop designed for independent filmmakers and artists determined to get their work seen widely, create social impact, and earn a living in the digital age.
The two-day Master Workshop, Seize the Future, comes to Stoke on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February 2012, as part of Stoke your Fires at the Mitchell Arts Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.
The workshop will feature multi-media presentations, breakout groups, and interactive sessions, with networking opportunities throughout giving everyone the chance to connect and lay the groundwork for future collaborations.
It is a fantastic opportunity for the regions filmmakers and artists, and Stoke your Fires organisers are keen for as many as possible to seize their own futures by taking part.
Natasha Carlish, CEO of West Midlands' Producers Forum and PRODUCER at Vicarious Dreams said: "I am thrilled that we are able to bring the excellent Seize the Future workshop to Stoke your Fires this year. I attended this extraordinary course and found it to be inspiring, insightful and informative. It is an opportunity to learn about new tools of distribution and audience development from world class speakers who are able to offer numerous examples of great success stories from around the world.”
“It is an absolute must for all filmmakers and for those people involved in creating content who are keen to find new and innovative ways to reach an audience. I cannot recommend it highly enough-book early to avoid disappointment!"
The workshop will be taught by Sandi DuBowski, Producer of A Jihad for Love and Outreach Director of The Good Pitch, and Peter Broderick, leading distribution strategist and President of Paradigm Consulting.
