Talk about JAM Hot! The team at JAMpr is celebrating after winning not one but two gongs at the Fresh PR Awards. The Northern Quarter based agency picked up the award for Freshest Use of Celebrity for its VELCROÒ brand Celebrity Art Challenge and Jaime Markey, founder and Managing Director of JAMpr, was awarded Freshest Young PR Professional.

On top of these accolades JAM was also a finalist in no less than five other categories: Freshest B2B Campaign – Tool Talk, Carl Kammerling International; Freshest Low Budget PR Campaign - The VELCROÒ Brand Celebrity Art Challenge; Freshest Media Relations Campaign - Results In The Recession, Kensington Financial Management Consultants; Freshest PR Stunt Or Event - The Kensington Financial Management Credit Card Amnesty 2009 and Freshest Small PR Team.

Fresh PR judges said of JAM’s win of the Freshest Use of Celebrity: “An innovative campaign, which nicely aligned the brand with an ideal target audience, had good celebrity endorsement and used creativity to get the message across at every stage. Good results on very little expenditure from JAMpr.”

For the Freshest Young PR Professional, judges commented: “Making a huge leap of faith believing in her own abilities Jaime has taken a gamble and set up her own business, using her own money to do so. Ticking all of the right boxes and showing strong growth, the judges have seen range of work, much of it shortlisted, and know that JAMpr and Jaime are a force to be reckoned with.”

Commenting on the wins, JAM’s MD, Jaime Markey offered: “We are over the moon to have won two Fresh PR awards. Winning awards for our work is proof to colleagues and clients that JAM continues to deliver exceptional results and award-winning campaigns.

“This year is proving very successful for all at JAM towers, with these awards following on the back of four account wins since January.”

JAMpr’s Freshest Use of Celebrity and Freshest Young PR Professional awards join recognition from the CIPR who awarded JAMpr Silver for Outstanding Small Consultancy at the Pride Awards 2009.

Influential marketing magazine, The DRUM, also voted JAM as one of the top 20 start-up companies in England, based on its successes, client base, pedigree of previous careers and general tenacity.

JAMpr’s client roster includes Rectory Foods, Equivet, The Safety Group, Accommodationforstudents.com, Conferences:UK, XYZ Property Management and Carl Kammerling International.
