JAMpr gallops in with Equivet
Equivet Animal Care Products Ltd has saddled up with JAMpr to carry out a national public relations campaign to raise awareness of its equestrian health foods, supplements and treats.
The team kicked off the campaign last week with a day at the BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) International trade show, Birmingham NEC, to build media relations and to support BETA International’s first ever TweetUp, organised by equine marketing company, Abbeyview Equine. The TweetUp saw equestrians from across the UK meet face to face for the first time after exchanging comments via Twitter. Equivet sponsored the meet with sample giveaways on stand and JAMpr created an online campaign via Twitter to attract visitors to the stand.
JAMpr will work with the equestrian press to encourage horse-lovers to sign up as Equivet distributors and to increase sales of the horse feed products among horse owners and riders. It will provide PR support around key sponsorship deals such as the X Factor Dressage event for the Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre and for a new range of Equivet products to be launched later in the year.
Equivet is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rectory Holdings Ltd, based in Holmes Chapel. JAMpr already handles the PR for Rectory Foods Ltd and has won Equivet over an incumbent agency following a presentation of ideas and initiatives.
Charles Woolley, MD at Rectory Holdings Ltd says: “JAMpr has impressed us with its work on Rectory Foods, so we invited the team to pitch for Equivet too. Their creativity and ideas were of a high standard and it made sense for us to work together on this brand, as we have lots of exciting developments in the pipeline for 2010 and we want to make sure we get the PR right.”
This is JAMpr’s fourth client win this year. MD Jaime Markey says: “We are working on some creative initiatives to really get the Equivet brand noticed in the equestrian world. The X Factor Dressage event is a highlight of every horse-lovers calendar so we are delighted to be involved with such a worthwhile cause.”
In addition to Rectory Foods, JAMpr’s client roster includes The Safety Group, Accommodationforstudents.com, Conferences:UK, XYZ Property Management and Carl Kammerling International.
