European Furniture Design Goes Virtual

M2L – an importer and distributor of modern Genuine Design from Europe – has launched a virtual showroom, Michael’s Loft.

The site features an online gallery of floor samples, over-stock furniture and discontinued models from its three locations in New York, Boston and Washington D.C., at prices up to 70% off. M2L is now offering an additional 15% discount to trade professionals who provide credentials.

For the past 20 years, M2L has prided itself on being a true creative partner to designers and architects on projects of all sizes. From custom fabricated beams and seating for the UN General Assembly with KFF to providing Walter Knoll pieces for Goldman Sachs, the A&D community has come to rely on M2L for its refined selection of world- class genuine modern design. Whether leading manufacturers such as Arper, Artifort and Montis or budding brands like IVM and e15, M2L stands behind the products it represents.

According to Michael Manes, “We created Michael’s Loft to give designers and architects access to high end design at great prices for their own spaces.”

Founded in 1992, M2L has introduced a myriad of iconic designers to the American market, that include: Josef Hoffmann, Eileen Grey, Walter Gropius, Eero Aarino and Pierre Paulin, as well as today's design stars like Paolo Piva, Patrick Norguet, Norman Foster, Eoos, Pearson-Lloyd, Jeff Miller and more. M2L products can be seen on their website as well as their three showrooms: 135 Madison Ave., NYC 10016; 3334 Cady's Alley, Washington DC 20007; and 104 Boylston Street Boston, MA 02116.

The company also hosts an annual student competition called the Genuine Design Scholarship to educate students about knockoffs and their harmful impact on the design industry. For more information, visit www.m2lcollection.com.
