Design Foundry in Liverpool expands with PR appointment
Liverpool-based The Design Foundry is looking to 2010 to be a year of growth as it expands its PR offer within the creative agency with the appointment of a dedicated role in its city centre team.
Laura Brown, formerly Account Manager at Think Publicity and Press and Communications Manager at FACT, joins the agency as Senior Account Manager, looking after the existing client base covering property, business, interiors and education sectors as well as leading on identifying new targets and opportunities.
With a background in journalism and PR, Laura was responsible for Press and PR at one of Liverpool’s main arts organisations, FACT, during the city’s year as European Capital of Culture in 2008. At Think Publicity, she looked after high-profile accounts including Grosvenor’s flagship residential development One Park West, the UK’s highest restaurant Panoramic, Cavern Walks and Hard Days Night Hotel.
David Al-Hadithi, Director at The Design Foundry, says, “I have spent several months looking for the right person to fill this key role and I’m delighted Laura’s on board. We have a strong reputation in creative design, marketing and communications and I’m excited about expanding the company to develop the PR side of the business to help us grow in 2010”.
