Design Force in Preston relates to education needs
Education Relations, the Preston based training consultancy has employed Design Force Associates (DFA) to create new brands for two of its latest products; Foundation Learning Matters and Foundation and Participation. They have also called upon the design consultancy to create a new website for Foundation Learning Matters - a business which provides training and training resources for courses aimed at 14-19 years olds.
DFA is no stranger to working within the education sector, with an impressive selection of high profile independent schools on its current client list, the University of Central Lancashire and having carried out work with the Learning & Skills Council many times over the years.
It’s not the first time that Education Relations has turned to the Preston creative consultancy for their design needs either. DFA has a long standing relationship with them, having previously produced Skillmap, an interactive software package which allows users to be in control of their personal and social skills development.
Education Relations Managing Director, Richard Sharples said, “It’s great to work with the team at DFA, their understanding of education and skills is unmatched. This helps us by bringing creativity and vision to resources without having to get them up to speed on the issues associated with 14-19 education.”
DFA designer, Rachel Tarlan, who has created the new brands noted, “My idea was to create a clean and friendly logo type along with a device that represents the modular format of the courses on offer. I eventually worked up the dynamic building-block graphic which references the 3 key areas of Foundation Learning. This device works well throughout the corporate literature and can be used in a variety of ways in different applications giving the logo flexibility and longevity.”
