A cutting-edge design company has moved into the Barnsley Digital Media Centre (DMC), joining a recent batch of new tenants that were welcomed into the building just a few weeks ago.
The arrival of Barob Design is an excellent addition to the centre, as the DMC works on attracting more creative businesses through the doors of its impressive £10.5million building.
Gareth Scargill, DMC centre manager, said: “Barob Design is in essence what the Digital Media Centre is all about, a young, creative company passionate about its products and services. I am delighted to welcome the Barob team to their new home.
“The addition of Barob Design to our increasing level of occupancy is further proof that the centre really is the place to be for all new and existing businesses with a passion for growth and innovation.”
Barob Design which offers a number of creative services including branding, web design and printing, has clients based across the UK, from Yorkshire to London.
The creative team has chosen the DMC as their new business home as they believe it will enable them to support more local businesses and find local talent.
Ben Barraclough, CEO of Barob Design, said: “Moving into the DMC has enabled us to start employing local talent. This is brilliant news for us because we have been able to start expanding our client base even further, whilst working in a really modern, comfortable and secure environment.”
Creative director Peter Roberts added: “The staff are friendly and we're enjoying meeting and networking with other businesses that have also chosen the DMC as their home."
The Barnsley Digital Media Centre is a landmark building in Barnsley town centre, designed to support the success and development of creative, media and digital businesses in the region.
