Derbyshire's Studio 61 moves home and reopens this April

Studio 61 in Derbyshire showcases the work of around 100 British artists & designers and this April it's moving to a brand new location at Leashaw, Holloway near Matlock.

Founder and artist Karina Goodman has spent the past few months preparing her new gallery and studio space which has been awarded The Peak District National Park Environmental Quality Mark.

It's set to re-open this April and a variety of events, exhibitions and shows are already planned for the new space. Open from Wednesdays to Saturdays between 9.30am and 4.30pm, exhibitions change fortnightly.

Throughout April there will be exhibitions by artists Janice Allen, Mixed Media, Mark Crowfoot, Portraiture & Figure work, Colourful & Quirky Watercolours, Stable Designs, Jewellery and Keith Wright, Landscape Photography and Karina Goodman herself.

More exhibitions are planned in May showcasing work from the Independent Photography Derbyshire Group, Rachel Helen Lunn, Vintage Jewellery, Kathy Spall, Ceramics and Sandi Williams.
