Creative agency archibald ingall stretton (ais) is further strengthening its social media offering by launching a dedicated agency division: ais social. The division, headed up by Neil Kleiner, has already achieved some key new business wins that will be announced in the coming weeks.
The agency currently works on social media projects for the majority of its clients, and the move to formalise its offering as ais social and the appointment of Kleiner reflects the agency’s increased focus on social media activity. He will focus on building a best in class social media proposition for the agency that will have creative innovation at its core. Kleiner, who has moved over from his role as UK head of social media for the Havas Media Network, will report into the newly appointed board, Sarah Stratford, Geoff Gower and Stephen Watford.
Neil Kleiner joined Havas Media in April 2010 to grow and develop the Havas Media UK proposition. Before that he was global social media strategist at Momentum Worldwide. Prior roles have included consultancy work for The Telegraph and Interesource.
Sarah Stratford, strategy director at archibald ingall stretton, commented: “What we sell are innovative creative ideas that work, but creating a social division just makes our product more relevant to clients’ needs. Neil shares our belief that social starts with creativity and having worked with him for the last two years we know he’ll be a huge asset to our team.”
Neil Kleiner, incoming head of social at ais, added: “Brands need to harness the power of social conversation to achieve their marketing objectives – the opportunity at ais also lies in focusing on what starts those conversations in the first place. I’m looking forward to putting into practice our philosophy of providing 'creative innovation that people value' to our range of clients. For us it’s about ensuring we can work with the myriad distractions of the modern consumer and find the unique, compelling or simply useful thing that will allow them to welcome a brand into their life.”
