CBG Group freshens up profile with Peppermint

Peppermint PR is ‘covered’ for further success after clinching Manchester-based CBG Group plc – one of the UK's leading corporate general insurance, risk management and financial services intermediaries.

CBG’s account team at Peppermint will be headed by account director Emma Jones, a former columnist at Insurance Times. Peppermint will be responsible for enhancing CBG’s profile in national, business and trade press, whilst also supporting a major corporate re-brand, scheduled to take place later this year.

In addition to having a broad base of general corporate clients, CBG Group, a listed business on the London Stock Exchange, operates specialist divisions providing comprehensive policies in life sciences and sports. The impressive client list of the sports division reads like a who’s who of the Premier League and boasts many of the Manchester United first team.

Stephen Darcy, Executive Director of CBG Group plc, said: “We’ve grown exponentially over the past few years and with our expansion set to continue, we feel that Peppermint will give us the right voice to tell our story.

“We chose Peppermint PR to handle our marketing communications not only because of the team’s in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, but also for their strategic outlook and exceptional track record of delivering results.”

Jean-Philippe Glaskie, joint managing director of Peppermint PR, commented: “We’re delighted to be working with such a dynamic and well-respected plc and looking forward to boosting awareness of CBG’s outstanding proposition.”

Peppermint PR, based in Hale, has a thriving business-to-business division, with particular expertise in insurance, property, law and financial services.
