West Midlands entrepreneur releases book and animated short film
K-9Lives: Episode2 is a short film based on the comic by Worcester film maker Douglas Wilson. It has recently been released online to coincide with the second book collection from the series entitled K-9Lives: Clue Clucks Clan.
The comic K-9Lives has over 100 strips and this second animated episode of the adventures of a dog/cat conjoined odd couple follows the success of the first which played at festivals such as Birmingham Flatpack Festival, Worthing End of the Pier Festival and Marbella International Film Festival where it was awarded runner up for best animation.
Douglas will be attending Bristol Small Press Expo in May with copies of both book collections and the books, comics and films are all available online through his website at www.dougwilson.co.uk.
Douglas is a graduate of the University of Central Lancashire with a 1st class degree in Animation. He has worked on the feature film "Billi the Vet" in Glasgow and "Rocket Jo" in Angouleme, France. Currently working freelance from Worcester in animation and illustration he runs two regularly updating web comics, K-9Lives and Bloodwhat. He is also writing and drawing a graphic novel, The Von Spleen Experiment.
