Christiane Engel is a freelance illustrator based in London. She's originally from Germany and moved to England in 2001 to complete her Illustration/Animation course. Christiane works with clients in the UK, US, Korea and Germany and has illustrated a lot of picture books, a kids' bible, an award-winning ad campaign and she also contributes to newspapers and magazines.
Her first illustration job ever was a children's book that she also wrote, called Louis + Bobo. Christiane designs and sells her illustrated pattern and surface designs printed on fabric and cotton wares on her Etsy shop and at Envelop.eu.
Every month of the year 2010, Christiane will be creating an unique DesertFriends desktop calendar wallpaper free for you to download at Flickr.
