Jewellery Designer Emily Proctor

Posted by Katy Cowan in Lookbook on Thursday 26th August 2010. Tagged with Jewellery, Design, Featured.

Emily Proctor is a jewellery designer and the person behind ZaksJewel. She started designing and making her own jewellery about 10 years ago, but was finally given the push to really go for it seriously when she lost her younger brother, Zak, to a brain tumour.

Speaking of her loss, Emily said: "Zak's courage and determination gave me the inspiration to get my work out there for everyone to see, and so ZaksJewel was born, named after him."

Emily creates unique, one-off silver pieces, that are handcrafted to a very high standard. Her website, www.zaksjewel.co.uk, is now live and contains a wide range of gorgeous necklaces, bracelets and earrings. She also offers a bespoke service for anyone who can't find exactly what they need.
