As surfers, their aim was to create Scotland’s first surf label, not a flag waving nationalistic thing, but an attempt to create a clothing label that would resonate with like-minded folk all over the world. They launched Staunch, Scotland’s first surf clothing label in 2007 – an independent brand for independent thinkers.
"At Staunch, we pour all of our efforts into developing new and exciting designs. All Staunch designs have a story, they are inspired by the environment around us, by the journeys and adventures we take the people we meet. Staunch garments are designed and printed in Scotland using only the best quality materials."

Staunch are currently holding a competition in collaboration with J Surfboards of Edinburgh. Handcrafted by Jason Burnett, this limited edition, custom made surfboard was lovingly crafted and hand painted in Edinburgh. With awesome graphics and a quality glass job, this board is an absolute dream.
