Rafael Mesa

Rafael Mesa (Caracas, Venezuela 1977) is a graphic designer and photographer. At first he worked for advertising and modeling agencies but due to his rising inclination for the styles of dark, gothic, nude fashion, quirky etc. he decided to go freelance. He loves his job and combines love and passion in each of his works.

Rafael has been featured in many magazines and online features in his own country. He's also a teacher at a design institute and planner of diverse artistic events and markets in Valencia, his actual city. The concept and production of all of his shots is a very close collabotation between himself and his models.

He's a big fan of Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, Jaime Ibarra, Michael Helms, Akif Hakan Celebi. The woman’s body is for him, the most beautiful subject for photography.. To see more of his work visit www.rafaelmesaphoto.com.
