Michael Murray

Michael Murray was born in Irvine on the West coast of Scotland in 1978. He is a qualified product designer, ex games artist (he worked on a LEGO title in London), and now a professional digital fine artist.

Currently based in the west end of Glasgow, Scotland, he works on designing and supplying bespoke art for offices, bars, restaurants, cafes, hotels, and private homes, and as creating art for special luxury gifts, and for design and advertising. In addition to his art commission work he also designs fine art pieces for international exhibitions, galleries, art fairs, and to sell directly to clients and customers. He is now fully accepted as a Scottish fine artist in the highly regarded Scottish art scene which includes artists such as Peter Howson, John Bellany, Avril Paton, Pam carter, and Jim Wylie, who was actually Michael's art teacher at secondary school.

Michaels work and style varies considerably but generally involves photography along with Photoshop and 3D Studio Max to create exciting original and contemporary pieces of art, and varies from stylish photographic collages and abstracts up to highly complex digital mixed media aerial scenes of real or conceptual locations.

His commission work may be found in the UK, the US, Europe, and Australia. His client list includes Stow College, Starbucks, Bar Square + Budweiser, The Goat + Heineken, Bar Bola, Kazaa Restaurant, and Keywest Design and Advertising, as well as many private clients icluding Kaye Adams, and Sir Tom Hunter.
