Laura Wood is an emerging illustrator currently living in Melbourne. She was born and raised in Italy and at the age of 24, after completing a Bachelor of Cinema and Multimedia, she decided to follow the little voice in her head and move to Australia.
It is amongst eucalyptus trees that she started dedicating all her energy to illustration. At the moment she is attending a Diploma of Illustration at NMIT. When she is not trying to become a full time illustrator she makes books for a living, drinks tea, watches movies and spends time with the people she loves. She also tries to be nice and friendly everyday.
Laura plans to one day explore Children’s Book Illustration and expand into Editorial Publishing.
