Laura Hughes is an illustrator, originally from Bath but now living in East London. The act of collecting forms a major part of her work and she is always on the lookout for interesting scraps of paper, fabrics and textures that she can recycle into her artwork. Her images are hand rendered, scribbly and created with a love of traditional craft and materials.
Laura studied Illustration at Kingston University and graduated in 2005; since then her work has featured in books, e-books and magazines as well as on cards, wrap, advent calendars and wall canvas. Check out more of her work on her blog or on her website.
