Anthony M. La Pusata loves to experiment and work in cross media through music, design and screenwriting. Born and bred in the UK, he studied Photography, General Art & Design and Graphic Design at Walsall College of Art then went to work for a major Italian advertising agency, DWA, where he was part of the creative team on projects for Cressi Sub, Invicta, Nardi, Mazda and Eurotravel.
From there he decided to set up his own design company, Republika D&MPB in the south of Italy which celebrated its fifteenth anniversary this year.
Over the last 15 years his work has participated in various exhibitions including the first Bienal de Valencia (Spain), Flash Forward NY / FlashForward SF (USA), Biennale di Carrara (Italy), Farm Art (Italy), Blue Cheese Rome and has been shown at the Galleria di Arte Moderna in Turin for a whole year. Just recently he inaugurated a permanent exhibition of his work at Farm Cultural Park.
Anthony's music development, alongside songwriting partner Darren Barnard, a.k.a. Chord saw them officially become recording artists in 2007 with over 30 tracks in their discography.
In 2010 he also got involved with Fulvant by creating instrumental tracks with DJs Tony Brumshall and Miles McIntosh leading towards the release of a single, 'Police Run' in June and an album in the very near future.
As a hobby Anthony also began screenwriting and over the last seven years or so has developed numerous screenplays and concepts for both TV and Film and currently has an animated preschool series in production. Recently, he also published a photographic book entitled 'Chasing Sensation' which endeavours to capture, through imagery, the sensations of what we see and feel when we are in another part of the world for the first time.
