Everly Dark is a Bristol-based artist, born on a Wednesday so is inevitably full of woe. But with this woe she weaves a magical wonderland. Her paintings are portals to this world; glimpses of a place where anything is possible and time stands still.
From a young age she realised she didn’t quite fit in to the world around her so she ventured into her head to find her friends and came across her own dark little world. With her imagination she filled it with dark stars and bleeding hearts, puking rainbows and belching stars and an abundance of weird and wonderful characters that cherished her morbid little heart.
She is inspired by anything weird and unconventionally beautiful; the little things that go unnoticed. She is an avid collector of ‘nothing specials’ and a fond dreamer of all that should be.
