If you're feeling down because of the recent disappearance of sunshine, and the somewhat elusive Indian summer, then you might just need a spot of cheering up. Next week sees the opening night of the much anticipated UPside Exhibition at the Medcalf Gallery which could provide you with a visual breath of fresh air.

UPside is an exhibition by an International group of artists working in illustration, printmaking, book arts and design, bringing together an extraordinary collection of their reasons to be cheerful.

Exhibition open: 13 September - 7 November 2010 Mon-Sat 12.00-23.00; Sun 12.00-16.00 Private View: Tuesday 21 September, 18.00-21.00
