Out of the Blue Drill Hall have a broad spectrum of artists filling the newly built studios and an abundance of classes, workshops, exhibitions and summer schools.

Bruncheon! – Sat 10th July

Brunch and live music event at the Drill Hall Arts Café. Local musical talent and DJs creating a chilled out atmosphere alongside delicious home-made café food in the open space of the Drill Hall. The Land and the Sea Exhibition – From Thurs 29th July

The Land and the Sea is a collection of work by Leith-based artist, photographer and filmmaker Alastair Cook. Alastair will show new photographic work alongside his photographs of Sutherland and Caithness, commissioned by Timespan in Helmsdale.

Summer Ceramic Workshops – July/August

Take some time to do something creative this summer. Enjoy a weekend Ceramic Workshop in the relaxed and friendly surroundings of the Out of the Blue Studios. Create your own pots or tiles.  Learn the ceramic processes from kneading raw clay to building and decorating your own designs.
