After a year of record-breaking success, vintage revelry experts, Proud Cabaret are set to host a month of controversial Prohibition Parties - The Beautiful and Damned.
With moonshine whiskey, seductive vaudeville and Proud Cabaret’s illustrious three course supper club menu, The Beautiful and Damned will also feature a cast of actors hidden amidst the throng of guests and burlesque beauties, who will create an all-encompassing 1930s secret speakeasy atmosphere with surprises at every turn.
Entry to The Beautiful and Damned will remain exclusive to those clad in the era’s most authentic regalia, with a special prize being awarded to the best dressed each Saturday. Visitors should expect bar-top saloon style dancing and flair bartending whilst enjoying a range of imported whiskies and cigars.
Widely regarded as an up and coming star of the Cirque scene, Jonathan Finch will further dazzle audiences with his displays of strength, agility and control with his inimitable theatricality. Skilful, sexy and very, very silly, Abi Collins will meanwhile give Prohibition a satirical spin with her unique take on character based Cabaret.
Plus for the first time in Proud Cabaret’s history, their starlets will be taking to the stage as an ensemble for the grand finale. Featuring appearances from Proud Cabaret’s headline star, blonde bombshell Miss Banbury Cross whose sex appeal rivals Monroe herself, seductress siren Missy Fatale, set to bring her blazing tassels to Proud Cabaret, and French vixen and true femme fatale, A’dora Derriere.
