Sasha Kagan is a name synonymous with the renaissance in contemporary British knitwear. She has been designing and making knitwear since the 1960s and is renowned for her lively use of colour and distinctive patterns.
Her exhibition at Ruthin Craft Centre gives an overview of the vast array of designs she has produced from early geometric and figurative patterns, the ethnic and folklorique ranges, the Country Inspiration Collection featured at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2000, to her most recent abstract designs based on natural forms such as rocks, lichen and crystals.
Pop along and see this wonderful celebration of colour and feel from 14 May 2011 –12 June 2011 at Ruthin Craft Centre.
