Forgetting Natasha
Natasha is forgetting who she is. When she first discovered she was losing her memory, Natasha wrote down the story of her life...the problem is, she can't remember where she put it.
What will Natasha be without her memories? Will she disappear? If she can't remember, did she ever exist, and even if she finds her book, will it be too late?
Heather Eddington's new work delves into the touching and poetic sotry of one woman's experience of dementia. Tackled with elegance and skill, using beautiful imagery, the dancers relive her memories and tell her story.
'Forgetting Natasha' is a multi-layered performance using dance, text and digital media. For this emotional new work Heather has joined forces with internationally acclaimed media artists KMA, poet Anna Mae Selby and dance artists Melissa Spiccia, Josephine Darvill-Mills and Baptiste Bourgougnon.
