Photobook Month comes to Birmingham

Bob Books, the leading photobook company, is coming to Birmingham with the first UK-wide celebration of photobooks in September. Photobook Month is a touring workshop that will call at 10 cities up and down the UK.

It’s aimed at photographers and photobook lovers looking to improve their photobook projects or get some inspiration from photographers and photobook experts.

Respected photographer Steve Gerrard will head up The Birmingham leg at his studio in the Custard Factory on September 14, from 7pm.

Bob Books’ general manager Ibolya Nemeth said “This is the first UK-wide photobook event. We wanted to celebrate photobooks in their many forms and the best way to do this is to invite photographers and photobook lovers to join us for a month-long celebration of photobooks in September.

“We have handpicked industry experts to speak on their experiences. People will get to spend a few hours sharing their books, picking up tips and generally celebrating photobooks.”

Tickets are just £10 in London and £5 everywhere else and limited to 15 tickets per city. To get tickets follow the link from the Bob Books Blog.
