On Friday 16 September, Déda in Derby hosts a unique opportunity to see award-winning choreographer Jonathan Burrows and composer Matteo Fargion’s new work accompanied by an evening of discussion.
Counting to 100 will be shown as part of Edge, a brand new evening presenting the best in innovative young artists from across the region.
Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion have been collaborating since 2002 and have performed their idiosyncratic duets throughout the world, presenting dance and music in completely unexpected ways.
Receiving rave reviews for their musical invention, critical insight and humour, at Déda they will present an evening of performance and discussion around their work, showcasing new duet Counting to 100.
This event is ideal for anyone curious about how a performance is made, what can go wrong and why some things work for an audience.
