From Cow Shed to Contemporary Art Gallery

Gallery 4 Art is a group of artists who like a challenge and for the last three years have been setting up exhibitions in venues that do not generally house artwork – such as cow sheds. In a matter of days a barn full of cows has been converted into a contemporary art gallery presenting a collection of work by artists from across the South West.

This is just part of a wide ranging Summer Exhibition set against the historic backdrop of Binham Grange in Old Cleeve. The exhibition includes two barns full of art and varied collection of sculptures set in the gardens and grounds of the property.

It's open to everyone and is free of charge. The restaurant at Binham Grange will be open throughout the exhibition. To add interest several of the artists will be running art workshops throughout the event to enable visitors to try something new or build on existing skills – please see the website for details.

The exhibition runs from the 6th to the 29th August and is open daily from 10.30am to 5.00 for details visit www.gallery4art.co.uk. Binham Grange is in Old Cleeve, Minehead TA24 6HX – tel: 01984 640056.
