Workshop Leader:

Nobby Massey runs Silkworm Studios, a silk screen printing business that was established as F & M Displays in London by his father after the Second World War. One customer was comedian Tommy Cooper who asked for some giant playing cards to be printed for his stage act!

Nobby has been printing for more years than he’ll admit to and in 2008 moved the company to Folkestone’s Creative Quarter to bring the facilities nearer to the many artists living and working there.

You might be surprised to know that Nobby’s real name is Andrew and lately he’s been building nest sites for bumble bees.
